Seattle, Washington – Announcing the release of AM-PM, a companion app for SmartDay that displays today’s agenda at a glance: appointments, scheduled tasks, even related notes. SmartDay is a free online service that organizes tasks into the free time in one’s calendar, showing exactly what can be achieved during the day. AM-PM then acts as a personal assistant, displaying today’s items in a format that is intuitive for busy people: AM, and PM.
How It Works:
Set up a free account with SmartDay, either online or directly from the AM-PM app.
Use SmartDay to organize tasks from multiple projects into the combined ‘smart’ list. Apply different filter and sort pre-sets, to instantly prioritize. SmartDay then automatically schedules those tasks directly into an integrated calendar, placing them in the free time between your appointments. Scheduled tasks move adaptively so if you get side-tracked with something else, SmartDay automatically reschedules them for you but in the same order, always showing how much can be accomplished by the end of the day.
On AM-PM, today’s agenda items are displayed, in order, in a color-coded list view. Tasks can be marked ‘done’ on the AM-PM app, and new tasks, notes and agenda items can be added on the fly and sync’d up to SmartDay for auto scheduling, either today or in the future.
“This is exactly what our SmartDay customers have been asking for,” says Managing Partner Michael Jardine, “a simple companion that delivers today’s meetings, todo’s, and notes in a focused format, all at a glance.”
“It’s also a great introduction to the free SmartDay system,” adds CTO James Reynolds, “You can log on to SmartDay from any computer browser, and it’s totally free.”
The SmartDay system also includes extended-feature SmartDay apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac OS X.
