Anmore, Canada – Mean Bean Games today is pleased to announce the release of Forces of Nature on the Apple App Store. Forces of Nature is a unique defense game where you must use Sprout to protect the forest from incoming waves of robots. You do this by strategically planting an army and using Sprout’s attacks and specials. With unlockable units, star ratings, bonus levels and survival mode, you’re sure to be challenged. It is up to you to help Sprout add some greenery back to a dead robot-infested land.
“One of the things people notice right away about Forces of Nature is its unique art direction,” explained Micah Borosevich from Mean Bean Games. “I think people will also be challenged by it – you’re not going to beat every level first try to say the least.”
The theme of nature versus robots was first conceptualized by Aaron Bonkowski while he studied classical animation at Vancouver Film School. When the Mean Bean Games team decided to make a castle defense game for iOS back in the summer of 2012, the theme seemed like a great fit. Forces of Nature is the studio’s first game and was completed with the help of programmer Jack Lamden and composer Nathan Madsen.
