San Diego, California – Software and consulting firm, MicroSECONDS Computer Consulting, is proud to announce the release of iMoonU 5.0, an update to their popular iPhone app. iMoonU remains one of the original moon phase apps that was available on the App Store. iMoonU started out as an iPhone web app long before the App Store existed. Naturally, when the App Store came about, the web app evolved to a full-blown app and has enjoyed many downloads. The app has been updated for iOS 8 and the iPhone 6. A sharing option has also been added.

iMoon is an application that will display the current phase of the moon. It will also allow you to enter any date from 1900 to 2100, and see what the moon phase will be or was. There is a monthly calendar view and a full moon countdown so that the user can plan events. A sharing option is also available to share the moon phase via email or Facebook.

Careful attention has been taken to keep the app as simple to use as possible. Simply launch the app and you have a photo-realistic rendition of what the current moon phase is.
