Glasgow, Scotland – Square Brackets today is proud to release inCommon for Twitter, a free and unique iPhone app that allows the user to enter two Twitter usernames and find people who follow both of them, and people who they both follow. When you’ve found matches, you can follow or unfollow them, find matches for them, and open them in your favourite Twitter app (Twitter, Echofon, Tweetbot and Twitteriffic are currently supported).

The search for new and interesting Tweeters to follow is often hard, but by comparing two users you currently follow you’ll be able to find people of interest to them who’ll likely also be of interest to you.

While you may have guessed your two favourite actors follow other movie stars, did you know they’re both stand-up comedy fans, or that they both follow one of your favourite directors? inCommon isn’t just about finding new Tweeters to follow, it’s about exploring the world of Twitter and the connections between users.

The app is not a fully-fledged Twitter client – there are plenty of good ones out there already. But it is designed to do one thing and do it well. No other app on the App Store allows you to do what inCommon does so simply.
