Casselberry, Florida – Econ Technologies updates InterConneX to version 1.1.1 fixing compatibility issues with iOS 8. InterConneX is a file storage, management, and sharing app for the iPad and iPhone. With InterConneX you can create a repository of files so that you can store and organize files and folders in one location on an iPhone or iPad. In addition to managing and storing files, InterConneX allows you to share your files and folders between other iPhones or iPads running InterConneX and Macs running ChronoSync or ChronoAgent. Coming soon is InterConnex 1.2 which will take advantage of the Document Provider extension mechanism in iOS 8. This means that any app that uses the new iOS Document Provider Extension or “document picker” will be able to directly access files stored in an InterConneX sharespace, much like the Open and Save dialogs work in Mac OS X or Windows. This new feature will support both local and remote sharespaces so, not only will you be able to save documents in a common location on an iOS device, you will be able to directly open and save documents stored on any IOS devices which has InterConneX installed. Furthermore you will be able to directly open and save files on Macs which have ChronoAgent installed.
