London, United Kingdom – Tedsoft is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Yearlier: Year Planner 1.0 for iPhone. Yearlier started out life on the PalmPilot as an app called Holiday Planner, released back in 1998. Developed over several years, Holiday Planner quickly outgrew its initial design goal of a simple vacation tracker to become a full planning application with multiple categories.

“It has taken us a little while but we are now bringing the app to the iPhone, albeit with a few changes to fit in on its new home,” said Steve Edwards of Tedsoft. “If you find other planning applications too complex or cluttered, you will find Yearlier to be a refreshing change.”

Designed exclusively for iOS 7, the simple and functional interface gets out of the way to present your marked days as clearly as possible. Add entries with a simple tap, you can select a full day, morning or afternoon. Running totals for each category are displayed at all times so you can, for example, see at a glance how many vacation days you have used.

Editing is done on a month screen, but at any time you can simply rotate your device to see the whole year in one go, no other app gives you such a clear overview the entire year. Entering complicated shift patterns becomes simple, and there is no better way to track vacation time for you, your family members or your staff.
