Toronto, Canada – Aspiring musicians need to look no further than their iPhone for help taking the next step in their music-making journey. Today, “Waay: Music theory that matters” launched for iPhone. Waay provides an applied, practical approach to learning music theory for songwriting. Similar to how other apps teach new languages, Waay uses a series of lessons and quizzes to teach the basics of music theory in a simple, fun and intuitive manner.

Waay features:
* Bite-sized video lessons that emphasize practical music theory and provide musical examples
* Interactive exercises with three achievement levels
* In-app tools to track your progress and sync across your devices

“We’ve created this app for musicians who like to carve out their own path in music,” said Alex Andrews, Waay’s creator. “Waay teaches music theory for songwriting to people who aren’t interested in an overly academic approach to music, but instead want to build skills they can use, and then get right back to making the music they love.”

Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 8.0 or later
* 208 MB
