Sydney, Australia – Creative developer, Jonathon Lau announced his new app, Moframe for iOS. Moframe is the first app to take advantage of Facebook’s newly launched Profile Video feature. Users pick from one of 16 fun animated designs, select a photo and then set the resulting personalised video as their profile picture. The animated photos can also be posted to a Facebook wall, or shared on Instagram.

The video templates are of a variety of fun styles. Some are moody, such as one black and white design featuring slow-motion birds, while others have a more ‘pop’ aesthetic. The app comes with a free starter pack containing 8 unique templates. Users can also chose to buy the “Pop Pack” featuring another 8 original designs.

“When Facebook announced profile videos, we knew there would be demand for apps like Moframe.” said Moframe creator Jonathon Lau. “I created Moframe for people who are tired of ugly gif sticker apps, and wanted a more polished way of adding motion to their photos. And Moframe will continually evolve. Future releases will incorporate collaborations with some of the hottests designers from around the globe.”
