Cupertino, California – Fans of Agatha Christie’s tantalizing mysteries can don their sleuthing hats and get ready for hours of twists, turns and edge-of-their-seat excitement, with Agatha Christie: Dead Man’s Folly. Agatha Christie: Dead Man’s Folly is the ported and optimized tablet version of the successful PC game that has been downloaded more than 27 million times, and has won both People’s Choice for Best Game, and Zeebys and Casual Connect Game of the Year.

With beautiful high-definition visuals that are optimized for retina displays and rendered using state-of-the-art 3D modeling, gamers will join famed detective Hercule Poirot in a mock-murder hunt at the enchanting Nasse House in the English countryside. They’ll need to race against the clock to find hidden objects that have been cleverly tucked away in different scenes from each story.

Some objects will help them solve the mystery – while others are red herrings that will mislead them. Along the way, they’ll uncover clue cards, explore evidence rooms, and tackle stimulating mini-games, as they inch closer and closer to uncovering a deadly and devious scheme that could only come from the imagination of the legendary Agatha Christie.

“The PC version of Agatha Christie: Dead Man’s Folly is wildly popular, and has delighted mystery lovers for years,” commented Megan Goodwin-Patel of IRM. “Now, it’s time for tablet users to experience the fun of Agatha Christie, in a way that’s completely optimized for tablet devices. Gamers will be amazed at the highly-polished graphics and game play, and truly feel like they’re transported to another time and place!”

Hilary Strong, Managing Director, Acorn Productions Ltd which controls and manages the rights to Agatha Christie said: “It comes at an exciting time for the Christie brand and we feel this will bring our top selling games to new audiences, continuing the ambition we have to make Christie a very engaging and accessible brand for fans around the world from every age group”.

Agatha Christie: Dead Man’s Folly is the first of four Agatha Christie mysteries that IRM will be porting and optimizing for tablets. Death on the Nile, Peril at End House, and the Miss Marple title 4:50 from Paddington will be added to the App Store in the coming months.
