New York, New York – Sterko LLC today is proud to announce the release of Bully Tap 1.1, the company’s anti-bulling app developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Bully Tap is committed to providing help and relief for victims of bullying. Users can report a bully, inspire others with their stories on a forum and talk to Bully Tap certified advisers on a live chat. Looking to curb bullying and suicide among victims of bullying, this new anti-bullying app will sue schools/bullies on behalf of victims.
“Hundreds of students across the United States feel isolated and alone from the grief and trauma associated with bullying. Bully Tap is looking to put an end to that,” said Kevin Jebara, co-Founder of Bully Tap LLC.
The new application will make reporting and identifying bullies easy and secure for victims. All victim notifications will be sent to their respective schools as a way of reporting and keeping the school environment safe. If school authority does not handle the threat of bullying in a timely manner or completely ignores it Bully Tap will file a civil suit against the school/bully after validating the victims account.
Bully Tap LLC. Co-Founder, Kevin Jebara, asserted the importance of the new application, “We have placed ourselves directly in front of any victim of bullying. Bully Tap strives to be the light in the dark; a safe community for anyone feeling isolated and alone. We will sue schools if they do not solve a particular problem because bullying has become problematic in schools across the United States. It has to stop, too many kids are committing suicide due to bullying and I firmly believe Bully Tap is a step in the right direction. We spoke to many parents who have kids that are being bullied at school and the common theme they had were that schools were not doing much about the bullying.”
The Bully Tap application will feature three key elements; identifying bullies, offering live support from Certified Bully Tap Advisers, and sharing uplifting words of inspiration within the Bully Tap community. The simplistic layout and design of Bully Tap intends to be accessible to anyone. A Facebook login will be required to validate the authenticity of each user. Once a user enters their information, Bully Tap will update them on the status of their reported bully during the whole process.
“Our main function is to identify bullies without compromising the identity of the victims,” said Jebara, “One of the important functions of our new application is that it doesn’t only deal with the victim. Now, schools and parents of the bully will be fully informed.”
Bully Tap intends to get all parties involved so everyone is made aware of bullying and not just the victim. Since bullying can extend outside of school grounds, all parents of the bully will be notified as a way of protecting the victim and others from more abuse outside of school.
