Seattle, Washington – Jordan Naftolin is proud to announce the immediate availability of Pegs ‘n Holes 1.9, an important update to his unique logic puzzle game for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Android, and Windows devices. Pegs ‘n Holes offers players a colorful spatial logic puzzle challenge, incorporating elements of both Sudoku and Minesweeper. Players must determine the correct sequence of moves to fill each hole on the board with a peg of the same color. The game is easy to learn and fun to play. It’s the perfect game for casual gamers who are looking for an enjoyable and relaxing way to keep their minds sharp.
To solve a board, players will need to logically plan out their moves to ensure that each colored peg winds up in a corresponding hole. While the game can be played with a relatively simple 4X4 board layout, players will discover that their problem solving skills will really be put to the test once they try larger board sizes.
“Logic puzzles have always been a favorite of mine, especially games like Sudoku and Minesweeper,” says Pegs ‘n Holes creator Jordan Naftolin. “When I decided to create Pegs ‘n Holes, I began by thinking about why I enjoyed these games so much. Both of these games can be relaxing to play, though they also offer enough of a challenge to keep me hooked. Depending on my mood, I can choose to either casually solve the board without worrying about how long it takes, or challenge myself by trying to complete the board faster than I had in the past. I designed Pegs ‘n Holes with a similar feel. I also designed the game so that players are never at a loss if they make a mistake while playing. In Pegs ‘n Holes, it’s easy to undo one or more moves to find and fix any mistakes without any penalty.”
Features:
* 6 board sizes for solo play: 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, 7×7, 8×8, and 9×9
* An unlimited number of boards for each board size (boards are randomly generated, and guaranteed to have a solution)
* Compete online against other players worldwide on a set of 7X7 boards (3 new boards generated daily)
* Players can view their stats for both solo and competitive play
* Play for a few minutes, or play for hours. Pegs ‘n Holes is a great way to fill free time.
* Colorblind option (uses shapes instead of relying on colors)
* Available in English and Spanish
Over 2 million boards have challenged players on the Windows 10 and Windows Phone platforms, and now iOS and Android users can join in the fun. The app is a Universal Application, so iPad owners will find the game is custom designed for their devices’ larger screens. Version 1.9 offers an improved user experience. It is now easier for players to view their stats when they’ve completed a board.
“When I developed the game, I wanted it to appeal to gamers of all ages,” continues Jordan. “Younger players find the game concept easy to grasp and are entertained by the smaller board sizes. More experienced players love keeping their minds sharp with larger board sizes. Some players enjoy the relaxing nature of the game, while other players are competitive and strive for the fastest times. I receive a lot of positive feedback from users all around the world, and I’m thrilled knowing that Pegs ‘n Holes has become a favorite game to so many people.”
