Gatineau (QC) Canada – Perdrix Apps today is proud to announce that their app Perdrix TXT 1.2, redesigned for iOS7, is now available exclusively for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Perdrix TXT is an e-book reader that reformats plain text e-books and files, into a book format. It allows downloading of the plain text version of public domain e-books, from gutenberg.org and archive.org.

The iOS 7 update brings a refreshed interface and more space for text. Wider Library and Download screens on the iPad make it easier to see long book titles. Up to 70 iOS 7 fonts are available. Searching is faster and now show the number of hits. The application icon is completely new.

In Perdrix TXT, the readers can turn pages in a realistic fashion, use the intuitive “book edgeways” indicator to see where they are or skip to a different place, and use a personalized photo bookmark like a real one.

Devices with iOS 6.1 are still supported but keep the old interface.
