Richmond, Kentucky – Appollo LLC is proud to announce the release of PikShare 1.0.4, an update to their social networking app developed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. PikShare uses your device’s location to generate PikShares from other users and sort them into the appropriate global or local feed. Never take another group pic ever again. Take a PikShare to effortlessly share the photo with everyone in the group, who can save it directly to their device from the local feed on the app.

All images on PikShare have a set expiration date before they are removed so that you can share with ease knowing that your content won’t stay posted indefinitely. Add an optional user handle and/or caption to make your post even more unique. The feeds allow users to vote on content and help to decide what posts get more exposure and what posts are removed sooner. These interactions create a community of content sharing similar to other anonymous apps like Yik Yak.

What sets PikShare apart is the ability to post uncropped photos that feature modifications similar to those found in Snapchat, allowing for more creative expression, jokes, and commentary. You’re also not restricted to only posting to your campus since PikShare functions wherever you find yourself. Vacations, Concerts, and Sports Events are all great venues for PikShare.
