Aktau, Kazakhstan – Quality Focus LLC today announced that QHSE Focus Magazine will relaunch as Quality Focus Magazine with narrowed focus in February 2014. Quality Focus Magazine reveals experts’ opinions, proven strategies, useful tools and techniques, forecasts and trends in the following areas and topics: Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, Operational and Process Excellence, Change Management, Quality Management and Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, DMAIC and Value Stream Mapping.
“2013 was the year of launch and intensive experimenting for us: Originally, in April 2013, taking the concept of “Integrated Management System” we’ve came up to our readers with 5 monthly issues of “QHSE Focus Magazine” having both “Quality, Lean, Six Sigma” and “Health & Safety” topics inside of each issue.
Later, in June 2013 we started publishing monthly issues in two separate editions “Quality, Lean & Six Sigma” and “Health & Safety” editions. By doing so we achieved a considerable surge in downloads and climbed up app store charts.
Finally at one point we figured out that the magazine shall pivot further into the “Excellence” market and by doing so, put the accent on our Quality, Lean, Six Sigma themes.
It’s not about taking a new direction I would say, it’s rather concentrating on the only direction we feel is right for the magazine. And we are very excited to step further with the new vision of what we should focus on.
At the same time however, I have to say that concentrating on the newly relaunched Quality Focus Magazine assumes that no more “Health and Safety” issues will be published. It wasn’t an easy decision and we don’t want to lose our “Health and Safety” readers. We highly appreciate their loyalty and hope that they will still find Quality Focus Magazine as the source of new knowledge and inspiration. Here I would like to bring Phil La Duke as a great example, Health & Safety author, speaker and thought leader who has found Edwards Deming quality concepts as the basis for his new thoughts in safety, in his “Deming on Safety” series.
We are looking forward to see our existing and new readers on the pages of Quality Focus Magazine which will give more and greater articles, podcasts, videos and downloadable freebies,” said Roman.
