Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – 30 years ago a console game introduced a character called the Mad Bomber to the world. Players, armed with nothing more than 3 buckets of water, had to survive as long as possible against the bombers endless supply of bombs and ever increasing difficulty.

This simple but addictive game went on to become a classic of the early home console age, but we couldn’t help but wonder, what ever happened to the mad bomber? It’s been 30 years, what has he been up to? Were the rumors true? Was he killed by one of his own bombs? Had he moved on to true terrorism instead of simply terrorizing young game players? Was he now working as an entertainer alongside a ventriloquist? Or had he simply decided to give up his nefarious ways and now living the quiet life in the American Midwest?

Apparently the answer is no, he’s been quietly biding his time. Cooking up ever more sadistic challenges to keep players on their toes. He could no more go live the quiet life than give up breathing. He’s had 3 decades to perfect ever more insidious challenges, and he’s been using all that time to his advantage.

Kablam brings the mad bomber back for iPad gamers. Broken up into 8 level segments, beginning with a first segment homage to the original game, each segment introduces new bomb types, combinations and challenges with ever increasing speed and complexity.
