Paderborn, Germany – This is the way of the future in regard to conducting presentations: A wireless transfer lets the user import required slides directly from the Dropbox to the new iPad app Slidee. Slides may be previewed in a thumbnail overview, rearranged and equipped with notes. Slidee automatically calculates the required speaking time and assists in the preparation of a new lecture, may it be for school, university, trade shows, press conferences or staff meetings.
Once a presentation has been finalized, individual slides may be selectively transferred from the iPad to an Apple TV set, a TV, a monitor or a computer. All it takes is a simple tap with the finger. The app can use either AirPlay mirroring or a VGA adapter for transmission.
The major advantage: The audience only sees the active slide, but not Slidee’s user interface or any notes made by the speaker. However, the presenter is still able to view notes on his iPad, preview outstanding slides, plus the elapsed time. Even a virtual laser pointer may be displayed, if desired. Beautiful transmission effects ensure smooth fading in and out of PDF slides on the monitor of the viewer.
