Stuttgart, Germany – Independent developers, Philipp Kosicki and Sascha Rank today are thrilled to announce the up-and-coming release of The Flapening, their first mobile arcade game developed for iOS and Android devices. Combining a whole new setting, a brand new three-dimensional look and well-known and successful gameplay, The Flapening is perfect for players looking for a new challenge, and keen on a quick, casual gaming occasion.

Diving into the game, players become Flap, a tiny red bird fighting against gravity. Flap must cross more hurdles than anyone ever would have expected him to. Working day and night on your skills to become the champion, you can upgrade your bird by collecting coins or by being supported through daily gifts.

The Flapening will be available free to play on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch as well as on all Android devices, hitting the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on August 27, 2015. Check out the game’s official website for more information, watch the trailer or download the press kit. It includes several in-game screenshots, the trailer as well as further contact information and the app icon. Also be welcome to contact Philipp and Sascha for a pre-release version for testing and feedback of any kind.

Located in Southwestern Germany near Stuttgart, The Flapening is a startup project realized by two young German students, Philipp Kosicki and Sascha Rank. As they are still in the fledging stages as a game development studio, they are currently working in a small team of only two people. Philipp and Sascha create everything themselves, starting from the idea over design and coding, until their final product is ready for release.
