Chicago, Illinois – Tic-Tac-Doku is a new creation from America’s most syndicated puzzle creator David L. Hoyt. In Tic-Tac-Doku, Hoyt brings together two classics to create something completely new and different by presenting an exciting Sudoku variant played with X’s and O’s. Based on tic-tac-toe rules, this innovative game that is familiar, yet different, presents an irresistible invitation that puts your brain to work in a whole new way.
“Tic-Tac-Doku is not just for Sudoku lovers, but they will certainly be intrigued by it,” said Hoyt. “In our focus groups we found, to our delight, that non-Sudoku players were equally intrigued by the challenge.”
The game involves applying the logic of both games in certain aspects to complete a puzzle according to three simple rules. While the initial puzzles are straightforward, the difficulty continuously ramps up as you progress through the 50 unique puzzles on the map. Tic-Tac-Doku is easy to learn, but difficult to master.
