Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – Thinkr today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Thinkr 1.1.1, an update to their popular social networking app for iPhone and iPod touch devices. Thinkr allows users to go beyond simply “liking” a photo or video. Choosing from a range of twelve different emotions (i.e. Happy, Wow, Love, Envy, Angry, Yummy, Clever, Calm, Doubt, Funny, Crazy, Sad), users can express their sentiments by importing a photo or having a different profile picture, or “selfie,” for each feeling.
The user’s dynamic profile photo updates automatically and is color-coded to further express the emotion (i.e. yellow is happy, blue is sad, etc.). In addition to the “selfies,” users can post one-word status updates that capture what they are thinking or feeling. Like the “selfies,” the text also reflects the emotion expressed with a range of colors. Over time, users can track their emotions (and the emotions of their friends) and keep an emotional diary.
Feature Highlights:
* 12 different emotions that describe photos, videos or status updates
* Intuitive interface
* Ability to interact in augmented reality
* Color-coded “selfies”
* Ability to add clickable text in stylish fonts (such as hashtags) to photos
* Ability to add vintage filters to photos
* Record and post 12-second slow motion video loops
* Geo-localized status updates
* Ability to share to Instagram, Tumblr, SMS, Facebook, and Twitter
* Interact locally and globally with others
* Track emotions over time
Version 1.1.1 has incorporated several updates to Thinkr. In addition to offering Spanish translation, users now have improved camera functionality and the ability to import photos from their Library as their dynamic profile picture. Thinkr has also added several new icons and emojis and the ability to share on Instagram, Tumblr, and SMS. Finally, users can now post 12-second, slow motion video loops (sound not included).
“Thinkr has seen rapid growth and consistently positive feedback,” says Alessandro Berio, CEO of Thinkr. “In one month, the app had more than 50,000 downloads, 400,000 page views, and was featured as the Best New App in Brazil and in 20 countries worldwide. We’re very excited about the latest update which allows users to capture their lives in slow-motion (although we like to think of them as “moving photos’). It’s the quickest and coolest way to share what you are thinking and feeling!.”
