New York, New York – Toughturtle LLC recently released Roadtrip Bingo 1.2, a refresh of the hit iOS app that helped people of all ages, especially kids, pass the time on road trips. The game now comes with nine premium game boards and a vibrant user interface. The gameplay possibilities are virtually endless and only limited to the player’s imagination.
“I remember playing bingo-style car games during long car trips when I was growing up, and Roadtrip Bingo is my way of continuing that tradition for the electronic/mobile age,” said Todd Barnes, Director of Development, Toughturtle LLC. “The results, in my opinion, have exceeded what I set out to do. I am really happy with the app and I hope that others like it as well.” Roadtrip Bingo brings the same fun and playability that children and parents have enjoyed for decades.
“When the iPhone first came out, I really wanted to make this app. But, I feared that the small screen would hinder it’s playability. With the introduction of the iPad I now had the opportunity to bring the concept to a more manageable size,” said Todd Barnes. “After the iPad version was complete, I realized that the size of the iPhone and iPod touch screen was actually perfect for the game boards. So I converted the app into a Universal binary for all Apple mobile devices to utilize.”
As a Universal App, Roadtrip Bingo works on all iOS devices. The app features nine game boards. The Basic game board, which is packed full of bingo tiles of commonly seen items while on a road-trip such as cars, animals, scenery, signs, and more. Additional game boards are Airlines, All Signs, Around Town, Food, Gasoline, Vehicles, Colors, and License Plates. The license plate game board features plate designs from all fifty states, but a specific region of the US can also be chosen in order to focus the gameplay to the region being traveled.
