Moscow, Russian Federation – Tricky Eyes today is happy to introduce their second app – Tricky Letters for iPhone. It is a simple, one-feature app for iPhone where people receive surprise inspirational letters at different times. The user doesn’t know when the next letter will come but he knows to expect a piece of tiny wisdom every day. This sets it apart from the crowd of apps that serve up content on-demand.
Tricky Letters app has empathy. Users receive their letters from a Mailbox character with a strong personality. He talks to them when he wants to. He has his own emotions and shows them. This is Tricky Eyes’ contribution to the growing trend of empathy in the user experience. Tricky Letters requires only a few seconds to play and is guaranteed to give a smile.
“We created this app for people like us: always busy and don’t have a lot of time to play games. You can already feel like changing something in your life after receiving a letter. Or you can just smile and close the app until the next letter comes. The app requires nothing of you,” says Julia Nechaeva, producer at Tricky Eyes.
The app is made in flat design aesthetics that meet iOS7 guidelines. The company has given their own take on the flat design movement, conceiving what they call “flat 3D graphics.”

Tricky Eyes is a small independent studio located in Moscow. The company originated from a single project for a big company. In April 2013 after angel fundraising the team was able to start working separately as an independent studio. When Tricky Eyes began the games were primarily created for kids, however over time the company has developed apps that they themselves use. Tricky Eyes developed 4 apps in 5 months and are now entering the marketing phase. Copyright (C) 2013 Tricky Eyes. All Rights Reserved.
