Glasgow, United Kingdom – Turing Limited and Papertank Limited are proud to release Trivia Night, the first multiplayer trivia quiz game for Apple TV. How many American states begin and end with the letter ‘A’? Find out in Trivia Night! Trivia Night is the only Apple TV app that allows up to 6 people to compete against each other in their own trivia quiz.

Players can download the free iPhone and iPad companion app then join the game session running on the Apple TV. The TV app randomly chooses a player to select the first question category (eg. Film & TV, Geography, General Knowledge) and the game begins. The question and answers appear on the TV screen and on the iOS app, with each player given ten seconds to answer each question. Scores are shown at the end of each 3-question round. The game finishes when a player reaches 10/20/30 points (as chosen by the Apple TV’s owner).

What colour skin does a polar bear have? Find out in Trivia Night! With 1500 questions (and more coming soon!), the app provides hours of gameplay. The content is family friendly and suitable for use in the classroom. It’s great if you’re having a game night or want to impress some friends with your new piece of Apple tech.

Anyone with an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 9 and above can join the game and there’s no need to connect to the host’s WiFi network – the TV will automatically recognise any nearby iOS devices.
