Perg, Austria – Ergonis Software today announced Typinator 7.1, the first refinement of their recently released highly acclaimed text expander Typinator 7. Besides many other great new features, Typinator 7.0 introduced powerful interactive forms with multi-line text fields, alternatives (shown as pop-up menus or combo boxes), and options (shown as checkboxes, which can be used to select one of two given text fragments).

In Typinator 7.1, these input forms have become even more convenient since they are no longer modal. While an input form is open, it is now possible to temporarily switch to other windows, for example to copy/paste text into form fields. The new version also improves the new subscription feature by automatically detecting and cleaning up duplicates of subscriptions and offers better handling of conflicts between sets shared via Dropbox.
