Singapore – Violet Arts today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of What’s Playing 1.0, their new iPhone game designed especially for trivia lovers. There are a total of 400 stages in this version, ranging from easy to hard, with more stages to be added in subsequent updates, all for free. No registration is required to play the game, simply download and start playing.
The game includes a three-frame animation of original hand drawn pictures that players have to guess using a given set of letters. Players are rewarded with stars for every completed stage. Stars can be used for hints – Marker (reveal a letter in the answer), Trash (remove a letter that is not part of the solution), and Prof. Einostein (solve the quiz).
What’s Playing is designed in a playful yet charming art style and comes with a happy, lively tune. Players who run out of stars may opt to use the free hints a.k.a Ask Friends on the social network. They also have an option to get help from Facebook friends or Twitter followers by sharing stages that have them stumped. Those with Facebook accounts may log in to see their friends’ progress.
“Especially designed for trivia lovers, What’s Playing is a perfect brain teaser for all ages,” said Violet Wee of Violet Arts (VA).
