Portland Oregon – Squirrel Dagger Games, an indie game company, today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Wildfire Hero 1.0 for iOS devices, a new type of casual game mixing puzzle, strategy, and arcade elements. In Wildfire Hero, you play as a rescue helicopter. Your goal is to extinguish the forest fire created from a lighting strike, and prevent it from reaching the house.
There are 4 ways you can lose the level. If the fire reaches the house, you run out of fuel, the little man catches fire and burns down his house, or a crow hits your propeller. You can refill your gas by hovering over the fuel truck. Beware fire can also make the truck explode and further spread the fire. Win each level by using your helicopter to put the forest fire out. By dropping water or strategically place water barrels to prevent the fire from spreading. The barrel works like a water land mine!
With over 10 levels of addicting, fast paced, strategy solving arcade fun, they increase in challenge as you progress. The graphics are a minimalist approach to an arcade/puzzle game using tiles to portray the forest and fire.
