St. Petersburg, Russian Federation – The organizers of the Winter Nights: Mobile Games Conference, one of the leading European mobile gaming industry events, have announced the WN Mobile Games Competition with a grand prize of $30,000. Developers are welcome to submit games for iOS, Android, Windows Phone or Tizen and can range in development stage from beta to already published. Applications must be received by January 17, 2014.

The $30,000 grand prize will be awarded by an independent panel of judges to the developer with the best game. The prize is sponsored by Nevosoft, the WN conference organizer.

The list of speakers will be finalized and announced in November, but Games Guru Tommy Palm, from King (creator of Candy Crush Saga), has confirmed that he will make his first presentation in Russia at Winter Nights 2014. Industry leaders from Chillingo, Rovio, Wooga, Gamevil, Flurry, Microsoft and others have also confirmed their attendance.

The WNMG conference takes place twice a year in St. Petersburg, Russia and is currently the largest conference in Europe exclusively devoted to mobile gaming. The fourth show will gather industry pioneers and new market players in February 2014.
