Ahmedabad, India – Indie game studio Masala Games launched its first title Word Mess, two years ago. 200,000 downloads later, Word Mess remains a highly reviewed app that is universally loved. The game is a hit with word game fans and was the #1 word game on iPad in September 2013.
The game found a loving audience in kids, educators and parents. Word Mess has also been used for occupational therapy. It is the only game of its kind based in beautifully generated word clouds. It boosts visual scanning abilities as well as vocabulary. But most of all, Word Mess is just as much fun for parents as it is for their kids!
Word Mess features include challenges via Game Center. Players can challenge their friends to a round of intense word finding and win bragging rights! The game features four separate types of games- Find, Rhymes, Categories and Odd-One-Out. These games can be played in a quick-play format or in a Survival mode where levels get harder as you progress.
