{"id":16,"date":"2012-05-15T18:09:33","date_gmt":"2012-05-15T18:09:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vunet.us\/dev2\/?p=16"},"modified":"2012-05-15T18:09:33","modified_gmt":"2012-05-15T18:09:33","slug":"smooth-rounded-corners-in-photoshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.vunet.us\/index.php\/design\/smooth-rounded-corners-in-photoshop\/","title":{"rendered":"Smooth Rounded Corners in PhotoShop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In PhotoShop:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open an image on which we add rounded corners or create blank image.<\/li>\n<li>Add a new layer on top, so image has its own layer under the newly created layer.<\/li>\n<li>Selected &#8220;Rounded Rectangle Tool&#8221; and draw rectangle on the new layer.<\/li>\n<li>Double click on the layer that you just drew the rounded rectangle on.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Advanced Blending<\/strong> area, play with the <strong>Fill Opacity<\/strong> percentage. Make it 0% if real image (not blank) is underneath it.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <em>Paths<\/em> tab., select the path, click on the little arrow button, in the upper right corner, and select &#8220;Make Selection&#8230;&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8220;Make Selection&#8221; option box, make sure <strong>Feather Radius<\/strong> is set to 0 pixels, and <strong>Anti\u2013aliased<\/strong> IS checked.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, with the selection still pending action, go to <strong>Edit, Copy Merged<\/strong>. Create a new document, and leave the dimensions alone. In the new document, go to <strong>Edit, Paste<\/strong>.
