Austin, Texas – AlphaCorr, the makers of precision CAD for designing customized packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and the steel rule dies to make them, announces the release of Rules v9 and SteelRules v9, their flagship software on Mac and Windows.

Rules and SteelRules v9 have support for the most modern operating systems including Mac OS X 10.10 and Window 8.1. New usability enhancements have been added to both programs. A variety of new tools and support for the latest DXF/DWG are included along with 2D PDF import and export. Both programs also have added a direct link to Adobe Illustrator.

Robert Bou, AlphaCorr co-founder, had this to say about the release: “If you value your time, this is the software for you.”

Rules provides precision CAD for designing corrugated packaging, point-of-purchase and self-standing displays. SteelRules has everything Rules has plus complex die making layouts. Both are available for either Mac and Windows operating systems.
