Haifa, Israel – Conceptis today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Battleships 1.0 for iPhone and iPad, a challenging single player puzzle game based on the classic game many of us used to enjoy as children. A typical Battleships puzzle consists of a 10×10 grid containing a hidden fleet of ten known ships. The only information is numbers telling how many ship segments are in each row and column, and some given ship segments in various places in the grid. The object is to discover where all ten ships are located in the grid. Discover the ships – solve the puzzle!

Featuring over 500 puzzles in a wide range of sizes and difficulty levels, Conceptis Battleships offers 120 free puzzles to get you started, as well as an extra free puzzle which is released each week. More puzzle volumes will be published regularly. All puzzles have unique solutions. The game includes a pencilmarks feature to place temporary water or ship segments when solving very hard puzzles, and a highlight excluded squares feature to help see where certain ship sizes can be placed. Other features include showing conflicts or errors during gameplay, auto-filling water, concurrently playing and saving multiple puzzles and more.
