The new version adds an option to automatically remove all alpha channels from images during Adobe Photoshop processing. The new option doesn’t affect color component and spot color channels.

In addition, the software can convert image colors to specific ICC profile, apply sharpening filters, merge layers and delete hidden ones, and process copies of InDesign documents instead of original files. As a result, users can save gigabytes of disk space and hours of optimizing images manually, accelerate document output, reduce job turnaround and cut costs through faster processing.

LinkOptimizer can be purchased from Zevrix website for $259.95 USD (Light version: $179.95) as well as from authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for LinkOptimizer 4.x users and $130 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer requires Mac OS X 10.6-10.10 and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop CS3-CC 2014.
