Singapore – UberGamers Pte. Ltd., established mobile applications and PC-based MMORPG games developer, has announced the recent update of Minox – Pet Battle Adventures for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. UberGamers’ Minox : Pet Battle Adventures just got more exciting! Players who have been valiantly questing on Minox Island since the RPG opened for Beta testing in the middle of 2013 can now go head to head, or pet to pet, as the case may be, with other gamers in the PvP (player versus player) arena come end September 2013.
Aptly named the Colosseum, after the amphitheater of the same name in Rome, the PvP arena is accessible by clicking on a broadsword icon on the user panel. This takes players online to a live server where the Colosseum Master connects them to opponents within the same ranking tier. There are 9 tiers in total, and players climb the ranks as they win more battles. To eliminate waiting time, players are paired with an offline opponent, and battles are executed by the game system’s AI (artificial intelligence).
In addition to earning in-game gold and XP, players will also get a PvP ticket every time they win a battle. These tickets can be accumulated and exchanged for epic gear only available from Mr Smith in PvP Town. These PvP gear cannot be purchased in any other manner. In a bid to reward players with real life recognition, the top 3 players by rank each month will be proud recipients of a Minox T-shirt bearing the title of Legendary Trainer. So in order to ensure your prize reaches you, be sure to sign up with a valid e-mail address upon initial registration!
And if you think “Legendary” isn’t good enough, the developers have gone one step further to ensure top players achieve “God of the Arena” status. But be warned, you’ll have to maintain your Number 1 rank for 3 consecutive months before you can strut around wearing that Uber-ego- boosting tee!
