Mainz, Germany – Using iTunes for all of your mobile-media needs is extremely convenient, but can very quickly become an expensive habit. Being able to easily download the latest book or the newest album from your favorite artist is important, but the consequences of on-the-go downloading don’t hit until the credit card bill arrives. The little known secret to iTunes is that many of your favorite items actually fluctuate in price! But these price drops don’t always last for long. There needs to be some way to figure out when is the best time to buy the items you love. This is where CheapCharts steps in to save the day.

CheapCharts, by LollipApp UG, presents real-time bargains from the iTunes Store in an easy to use app to find a steal in each department of the iTunes store: music, movies, TV series, audiobooks and books. The app, which is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch (optimized for iPhone 5), can easily be set up to notify users about price drops matching one’s interests and categories, as well as a feature called “TopXX Push” which will inform users about price drops in the top chart ranges.

“We knew users wanted more control over how they navigated the app,” said David Becker, CEO for LollipApp UG. “After CheapCharts’ initial booming success, we knew streamlining further and paving the way for further personalization with a wider array of items was the way to go.” Other features like “Artist Radar” and “Genre Push” will let the user know about particular artists or what’s available at a lower price in specified genres of interest.

New additions to the app also keep the fluidity of the buying and sampling experience for users. The integrated player allows users to sample music while perusing other media, even changing the song on an album sample mid-browse. Users are also encouraged to enable push-notifications so that they will be entered into monthly raffles for iTunes vouchers, and the app promises to never annoy users with aggressive notifications or ads.

LollipApp was founded in 2014 by three student friends who wanted to put their vision of a world where iTunes does not have to break a bank into action. The result was CheapCharts which started for music only before all other media were included at the end of 2014. With many different saving feature CheapCharts became the master tool to save on iTunes. All Material and Software (C) Copyright 2015 LollipApp. All Rights Reserved.
