Vleuten, Netherlands – A brand new app is set to hit the market, which has the potential to transform relationships through an advanced personality-matching algorithm. Published by Online Commerce Group BV, the PersonalityMatch app, which is free to download, reveals and analyses personality types and shows you easy ways to improve your most precious relationships.
Developed by Dutch tech entrepreneur Johan Hagenbeuk, the app involves three simple steps – users can take the free personality test, invite someone else to do the same, then let the app assess the compatibility of each personality. The personality test asks nearly thirty questions about life attitude, work and people. The app then reveals the users personality type and displays a detailed personality profile.
What makes the app unique, and sets it apart from anything else on the market, is its sharing capability. The app lets users invite others – partners, friends, colleagues, family members etc – to take the test and then compares results to produce a compatibility score from 0% to 100%.
What’s more, the app provides a detailed breakdown of the personality match – also identifying potential areas of conflict and suggests how these can be resolved to improve the relationship.
“The inspiration for this app came from my interest in personal growth,” explains Johan. “I discovered that, while there is a lot of information about personality types, there is much less on how these types can best interact. It occurred to me that knowing and understanding someone else’s personality type could be very powerful in regards to personal development. Finding out why you come into conflict with your partner – or anybody else you have an important relationship with – then discovering how to solve that conflict, could be life-changing.”
The app is ready to come to market after an exhaustive testing process, which Johan says demonstrated its huge potential: “When we tested the app we found that people were getting to the root of problems and difficulties that, in many cases, had been stretching back years,” he says. “People were really happy when they realized their problems were caused by basic personality differences and that, with a bit of work on both sides, they could be solved. It’s incredible and I’m proud to have created something that will help people improve their lives and relationships.”
