Wellesley, Massachusetts – The Belly App is the new expert resource to learn the beautiful, ancient art of belly dance. Forty exclusive, high-quality HD videos teach each movement, broken down by body isolation. The user can add clips to a personal filmstrip and build up an archive of video combos for practice at their convenience. Dancers can listen to our sample music – a fast drum solo or slow violin taksim – or use the phone or tablet’s playlists to unleash their inner God or Goddess! The app includes exclusive access to our private YouTube channel for sample combos and demos.
In the easy-to-use interface, users pick a body isolation to discover four movements to master per element- for example, chest slides, circles, pops and figure-8s. They can add clips to their filmstrip to save for future practices, accompanied by the included soundtracks or new discoveries from Jamilah’s Picks, a hand-curated iTunes belly dance playlist.
