Featuring different space station themes and a variety of obstacles, players must run for their lives to escape demon robots who have attacked their space station.

To navigate the corridors in XRun Space and avoid obstacles such as overhangs and barriers, players use their finger to swipe to turn, jump, and slide. Tilting the device allows the player to avoid holes and collect electronic chips that can be used to purchase power-ups, utilities, and new characters.

XRun Space includes a wide variety of power-ups to enhance gameplay. A Multiplier Chip doubles the value of the chips collected after 1500 meters. A Speed Reducer allows the user to slow down the pace while Booster Boots enable a temporary speedup. The Invisibility power-up enables the player to avoid gaps and obstacles. The Chip Magnet attracts chips when it is activated. Finally, the Mega Chip power-up awards 50 chips. Different levels of the power-ups can be purchased with chips. Additional electronic chips in quantities ranging from 2,500 to 200,000 can be bought as in-app purchases.

There are also several utilities in XRun Space. Boosts enable the player to advance 500m ahead at the start of the game while Mega Boosts advance the player 1500m. There is a Speed Reset which resets the player’s growing speed to its starting value. Also available are resurrection wings which can be attached temporarily or permanently. Resurrection wings allow the player to be automatically resurrected if they die while navigating the space ship’s corridors. The Resurrect utility attaches the wings for 30 seconds. If the player dies before the 30 seconds ends, the player will be resurrected.

XRun Space offers a No Ad version which allows users to play the game without ads. Additionally, players will receive a run award in the No Ad version. Every time they play the game, they will receive extra reward chips. Also in the No Ad version, players are rewarded with additional chips as they cover more distance in the game.
